David Russell Obituary
Charlestown, NH - David Russell, 64, died the morning of Friday, March 20th, 2026 in his home. He was born March 14th, 1962 in Bellows Falls, VT. The son of Dayton Russell and Doris Merrill. Survived by his sisters, Katherine (Kittie) Elliot, Martha Smith, Marianne Beauregard, his wife Mercedes (Ashey) Russell, children Beverley Russell, William Seamans, grandkids Audrey Merritt, Christian Merritt, and Brooke Hutt.
David enjoyed helping people. He was always there when you needed it. He loved everyone, especially his family. He was a long time custodian at Fall Mountain Regional School District. During his time with Fall Mountain School District he wasn't only a custodian he was a mentor to many. Anyone that knew him would say he was a kind soul. David also enjoyed helping animals. He would stop anytime he saw an animal such as a dog wandering along a road to make sure they got back home safely. He volunteered for River Valley Animal Protection League some years back as well. David's other many hobbies included fishing with friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting. David was a connoisseur of fine ales as well. David's services are Friday, March 27th, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel in Charlestown, NH.
