Caesar "Ce" rests there. His parents Norma & Dennis have participated in Memorial Day services there.
In remembering there son, they have used two poems among others:
In Flanders Fields & The Young Dead Soldiers.
This Memorial Day your Mother Norma, used
In Flanders Fields & was noted in the San Francisco paper.
One of my favorite lines is from the other poem,
which reminds us of our obligation to never forget to say your name, and others we have lost from this earth.

Caesar, it's now exactly 17 years to the day, Wednesday, February 1, that we lost you. I know that what you did was right to protect others, both your brothers and sisters-in-arms and innocent civilians. You acted selflessly and honorably. But still, a day doesn't go by that I miss you so much. You have so many people who love you. I will follow in your footsteps and be the best I can be to edify others and to ensure the safety of every human life. My heart hurts to this day, but I know that you are in the loving arms of God. Vig could not have been a better soldier. When we weren’t patrolling he was doing pull-ups on the platoon bar. It was my second tour and I told him he wouldn’t be able to bring his guitar to be tough. But in the end I did let him bring it. He was a good soldier and a good kid and I miss him.

Sgt Aleks Morosky, your platoon mate, he also remembers the date, and your two vehicle mates - Avery & Bustamonte.
WW II is on my mind lately. Aleks's Grandfather Paul, a Coast Guard Academy grad died on Jan 29th, and Uncle Ed - who served in Alaska, after being drafted out of hi school - is laughing and REMEMBERING, with FAMILY as he's assisted by hospice. Thanks again for your HONORABLE service - so many young people need your example.

Following you home with your mom and dad was an honour I'll never forget, Ce. Meeting you for the first time at Grandma Pearl's seems like yesterday, it was snowing and you were such a wee man. Watching you dive from the high board at Makalapa while the rest of the kids stayed in the shallow end should have warned me; hearing your mom talk to me about you prepping for Basic sealed it, you were meant to do something. You really did, Ce. You left the world a better place than it was when you left, I hope I can do the same. You are loved and you are missed. That will never change. Never.
