Hi Marco.
I know it's been a long time since I've written on here, but I just wanted to tell you Amanda passed away on Monday. I've been so heartbroken and all I can think about are you and Poppi. I can't believe she's gone. I just talked to her a week before I went to Cali and she was asking me about how married life was treating me. I wanted to take a some trips next year, one was to visit Sandra and see her. I was shocked when I heard. I've been crying all week. She was like a sister to me, having known her since 8th grade. She had your name tattooed on her foot in a yellow ribbon. She loved you too! This is hard. So hard, but I'm going to think about the good times. This Sunday is 7 years since Poppi hasn't been with us too. This is a hard year, the only good thing is that I had a wonderful wedding filled with love and happiness. I had pictures of you and Poppi there too. I hope you're well and know I'm constantly thinking about you. I know your watching over Zoe, she looks so much like you. Hopefully soon I will be writing on here to let you know you're going to be an Uncle. Very very soon! I love you Marco and I miss you so much, every day! Your laugh, your smile and you phone calls.

It was great to see your uncles there too. I know she felt your presence as well as Fernando's. I'm so lucky that I get to see you every time my son laughs. He has your smile and his eyes shrink and wrinkle every time he smiles just like yours did. You are with us every day in our car. Your dog tags hang on my rearview mirror since the day you were taken from us. Wish you could see how big your niece and nephew are. He graduates this year, can you believe it!

Hey Marco.
So many things to say, but you already know them. I constantly think of you and wish you were here, but I know you and Poppi are together, happy and not suffering. The world can be a cruel place, but I am making it through. I met an awesome man and we've been together for almost two years. We are actually talking about getting married next year and possibly have a baby. I've haven't been this happy in years and I'm so glad that I can share my life with someone who loves me and appreciates me. It's been too long. I've been talking to Zoe and she's so big now. I'm glad for Facebook and Instagram because we can share photos and stuff. She looks a lot like you, that's for sure. Shannon is doing good too.

Hi baby, is almost august and with that comes lots of things, one Chelsea will be 15th years old, Chelsea is now workink in a restaurant here on the island last night was her ever first tiem she did well and she was happy, she said that every one in the rstaurant told her that she did a very good job for now she will be working 3 day per week, she is groing haa,Last night she came smelling like sea food and you know i do not like sea food, on Monday august scond she is going to get her permit to drive she is so happy and so am I, she is well put together and very sweet she said that now that she is workin we do not have to worry about money like she wasgoing to make lots of money :.
I am doing fone working I have to take chelsea and me ahead, is just the two of us, I think we are doing ok, is hard sometimes but I have always live with stress and it does not bother me any.

Dear Ms. Cordoba, I was so deeply inspired to write you about you son. I can tell by your entries that he was a wonderful son and brother and his death leaves such a void. I also wanted to take this time to express the Bible's comforting message about war being eradicated. If there's no more war, then we won't have to ever feel the pain of losing a loved one in this terrible way. In the Bible at Isaiah 2:4 it states, "And he (God) will certainly render judgment among the nations...Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore." Not only will God destroy war and the weapons of war, but thru his Son Jesus Christ, He's arranged for a resurrection of those that have passed away. Thru God's word the Bible, we can look forward to seeing our dead loved ones. When Jesus lived on the earth he resurrected people. So we can have full confidence he will do this again in the future. I now some one that her best friend husband got killed in Irak I was so sorry and so sad because I know what they are going tru and I know life will never be the same.
