Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this month and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Brock A. Beery US Army Staff Sergeant.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.

I have many treasured memories of our son.He has been missed so much in the past 3 and a half years.I miss our early morning chats on the computer and our laughs and vacations when he was young. His smile and caring was treasured the last few yrs here.

Please know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten. On Saturday May 23 I was honored to read the names of Tennessee's fallen in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars at a ceremony in Washington DC at the WWII Memorial. Brock Beery is remembered.

Dear Beery Family, We as Team Y Run/ Hendersonville, Tn, wanted you to know that we are running a mile in honor of Staf Sgt. Brock Beery on Aug 24, 2008 in Hendersonville tn. We will have a memorial for him and place a red rose as we run by it. We are running in coordination with Run for the Fallen as they finish their run in Arlington Cemetary. There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

Please know how Deeply Sorry I was to learn of the loss of Staff Sgt. Brock A. Beery, one year ago today.
The price this Brave Young Soldier and his family have paid for this country and for freedom, Will Never Be Forgotten.
May Brock rest safely in the Loving Care of God and may the Grace and Comfort of the Lord continue to be with the Beery family.
There will Never be Enough Ways to Humbly Thank these Heroes for their Supreme Sacrifice, my brother among them. KIA~Vietnam, 1967.

My husband and SSgt Beery went to Bosnia together and also in the same unit he was a good man quite and graceful man he love his job and done it well. All of us in the national guard family wants his family to know we loved Beery very much.

Brock was our son-in-law. We thought of him as our son. It helps just a little to know we are not alone in this, but there is so much sadness. How do you go on; when life cannot be normal anymore? We are there for our daughter Sara, and grand daughter. They mean the world to us; as Brock did. I thank all of you so much for writing. He is a true American Hero. He will be missed forever. Pam and Roger, I will always remember that little blue eyed and blond haired boy running around with a smile on his face and mischief on his mind. Brock's death has had more of an impact on my life than any other of my own relatives. I can't quit crying, or thinking about him or writing about him. I am so glad that I took that opportunity to e-mail him. Our hearts and prayers are with you and America has lost an incredible man. We love you Brock!

I am deeply saddened to see that another soldier has been KIA in Iraq. We want you to know that we grieve with you over the loss of another precious soul such as Brock. I know from first hand experience what you are feeling and what you must be going through. We lost a son in Ramadi, Iraq on December 1, 2005, SFC Brent A. Adams.
As Brent’s mother I know there is nothing I can say at this point in time that will ease your pain and sorrow over the terrible loss of your brave and courageous son. I know your hearts are broken and there is now a void and deep sadness in your heart that will never be filled. May it help you to know that there are others who share your pain, agony and sorrow. While the pain will probably never leave but lessen some with time, I pray the Lord gives you comfort, peace and strength to help you cope with this earth shattering loss no parent ever wants to experience. If it would help to talk please don’t hesitate to contact me.
This is an extremely difficult time, but hold on to those wonderful memories of your son….the ones that make you laugh and remember with joy the moments that you shared. The laughter between all those tears is one of the ways that will help you work through your grief. Brock is a hero (a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities) and even though we were not fortunate enough to know him we pray for you and all your family and for all those men and women serving our country so valiantly. Our children have made the ultimate sacrifice and they will always be honored and never forgotten. Unfortunately these tragic events have bound all of us together and changed our lives forever. God bless you and all those who mourn the loss of Brock and thank you for his courageous service to our country!

My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courgeous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guestbook for the rest of my life. We lost our son 12/1/05.
I know first hand there are no words right now that will bring you the comfort and peace you need. Just know that you are not alone. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you mourn this loss. We don't know each other, will probably never meet, but will forever be united in the loss of our Heroes. We have, unfortunately joined a group none of us wanted to join, an ever-growing group of families in this situation. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and be able once again to smile at a memory rather than have only the tears that flow so easily now. To be so proud of your loved one and so saddened at the same time is a mix of emotions very difficult to deal with. I am sorry that I never knew your soldier personally, but none of these courageous men and women will be forgotten. They will never be able to be replaced, but sometime, someday your loving memories will help to sustain you. This courageous soldier will forever now be your Angel watching over you all for the rest of your lives. It's what brings me some measure of peace and comfort and I hope it will you as well. To his family and friends in pain, I offer this comfort. When you find yourself in that dark sorrowful place, think not only of how you will miss him, but instead recall the years, days, hours and minutes gifted to you by his presence. If you ever want to talk, I'm only an e:mail away and would love for you to tell me more about your Hero. God Bless this courageous soldier and family.
