Your son will never be forgotten in our family. My son recently got married and Brian's name was mentioned in the prayers of the faithful. He and my son were good friends in the USMC and my son wears a bracelet with his name. We will all think of him everyday and never forget his supreme sacrifice.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”

(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )

Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….

“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”

Dear family and friends of cpl St Germain, my name is cpl Ian cameron I was stationed with cpl st for almost 2 years while aboard camp pendletons 1st bulk fuel company. In feb 2004 I arrived in the fleet marine force straight out of mos school, shortly after arriving at camp pendleton, At the time still a lance corporal, St Germain took me under his wing and taught me what it was to be a marine and gave me good examples of leardership. Months later around september 2004 we both headed of to Iraq together he constantly looked out for me and all of the fellow marines in our unit, he would always be there to help if anything was ever wrong. Around Christmas day our commanding officer pulled us all in the the fuel farm and meritorously promoted St Germain To the rank of corporal, if anybody deserved it he did he was a role model for all of us, later we would return home to pendleton for about a year and then early 2006 we went back to iraq together for a 2nd deployment we were stationed in al asad but shortly after arriving i was sent out a a smaller camp on the border of iraq to run alternative fuel operations. the night before i headed out to the different camp he came up to me and shook my hand and told me to take care of my self we exchanged a pat on the back and then parted ways. since the first day in april that i found out until present day his memorie is still alive in the ones who have served with him and he will never be forgotton nor replaced ever, not a day goes by that i dont think about my brother my comrade. In the office of camp pendletons 1st bulk fuel company office, there is a memorial for him there and like many of the other bulk fuelers that knew him hey will truly and deeply be missed

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

To the family of Cpl. Brian R. St. Germain, I had the privilege of befriending Brian in MOS School. We were both in the same class at Ft. Leonardwood, MO. We graduated there in December sometime. He had chosen to go to Japan for his duty station. That was the last time I had seen him until I had just returned from my second tour in Iraq. I seen him in the chow hall at Camp Pendleton. We talked for an hour or so about good times in school. How he had the highest grade when we finished. But why I write this is to say that from someone who knew Brian. He believed in what he was doing. He made it a point to ask about my view of the situation. And just know that he is watching from above. And it was a blessing to get to know Brian.

Lynn...I saw you today at Brian's Mass and my heart broke for you. Haven't seen you in 33 yrs & just wanted to hold you. You were my best friend at St James and have grown to be so brave & pretty. My prayers are with you, Lynn...God Bless you, your family and all the military families who remain in the states without our loved ones. You are also our heroes...Brian was obviously a very thoughtful and unselfish man to have volunteered to assist the US in this endeavor. I admire his courage and yours. Miss you & will pray for you always. Your mom would've been proud of you if she were here. I'm sure she is...she did a fine job. Remain in Faith. Love, Paula (Grimes)Duhamel
