Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Brian J. Bradbury US Army Private 1st Class.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,

I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

As our friends and family start the hectic Christmas rush I hope they take a moment to remember those who came before us and laid down their lives in the name of Freedom and for the country.
Remembrance Sunday is approaching here in the UK and it is a time I remember the members of my family who paid the ultimate price in two World Wars; I will also be remembering Brian Bradbury, a man who stepped forward to leave those he loved and the country he was raised in to defend the principles of Freedom, may he have found Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just read today in the Wall Street Journal the article on Sgt. Monti and the events that lead to his death and to Brian's. My heart goes out to you. I know your pain first hand and know of the extreme sacrifice you and Brian have given. My son, Marine SSgt Tony Wojciechowski was KIA in Al Anbar Province, Iraq on 4/30/09. Thank you and God Bless you.

whats up little bro? aint hugged you in a while though your with me everyday. your daughters an angel like your mamma promise to guide her the right way. wish it was you instead of me spending time making sure shes ok. its hard to understand gods plan but we gotta have faith. i look up to u for what to do. what a hero u became. it gives us pride inside to help us hide all the pain. silent tears for a million years and that will never change. cant help but cry feels like half me died and it wont ever be the same. cant ask why, i tried, but no reply to explain. i really miss you bro! thats all that im saying. my love out to all who've stayed tall and kept it sane. my strength if you fall and have to crawl through all the struggle and the strain. but we cant focus on our gain. because you know they miss us just the same. when we meet again they'll be wondering what took so long before we came? untill that time protect your legacy, family, and your name. i love you bro! thats all that im saying

"A Message from Our Loved Ones Who Have Gone Before Us:
To the living I am gone,
To the sorrowful I will never return,
To the angry I was cheated.
To the happy, I am at peace.
And, to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So, as you stand upon a shore,
gazing at a beautiful sea,
REMEMBER ME.
Remember Me in your heart, in your thoughts,
and the memories of the times we loved,
the memories of the time we shared.
for if you always think of Me,
I will never have gone."

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.
The Wind on The Downs
“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”
(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )
Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….
“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”

his service. He is my hero. !

The Other Side
i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.
can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.
i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.
it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side
the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

To the Bradbury family,
I am truly sorry for your loss and please accept my condolences. I was with PFC Brian Bradbury on his final mission and spent his last moments at his side. I think every day about that tragic night on the mountain and wish there was more I could have done to change the outcome of that evening. Brian was one of the smallest men in the team yet carried our most powerful weapon, and no doubt helped save many of us that night on the mountain. PFC Bradbury is a true hero in every aspect of the word and I miss him deerly.

“Soldier”
Written to Honor the Service of Our Fallen Soldiers
Soldiers write history, we pay the price
Many miles distant, you live the life
Entered the Battle of our own free will
Out of Duty for Country, and we’d do it still
We hope and pray that all will find peace
In God, in the flag, in memories of valor
Gone now, our pride and courage you see
“An Army of One” our motto forever
Willing to risk all for love of our Brothers
We’re still Your Soldiers…and we showed the way
Our Lives too short, now pray for the others
Lived free died Heroes in lands far away
Deep within souls all cherished our Service
We’ll always have what some never know
Courage and Honor, our names forever
Lived life with purpose…just our time to go
We march in the Heavens with Honor and Glory
Missions accomplished we fought the Good Fight
Many years from now…we’ll tell the full story
Until that Day we will live in the Light
Our lives we laid down in a land far away
Still watching o’er you this night and by day
No need to talk…just know we are with you
There in your hearts and we hear what you pray
Yes we are your soldiers
Our lives we laid down
Still We guard o’er you
Still Duty bound
Entered the Battle of our own free will
Out of Duty for Country, and we’d do it still
We’ll always have what some never know
Lived life with purpose…it was our time to go

To everyone who has supported us through this hard time.
I am Brian's wife, Stephanie. It has taken me awhile to be able to do this. But i would like to thank everyone who has supported us. I never thought that Brian's death would effect so many people. I knew that family, friends and other soldiers that he served with would feel the pain, but the day of his funeral showed me that Brian was a hero to more then just us. When I entered the church parking lot it was all I could do to keep myself under control. Tears came to my eyes as I saw all the flags and people standing there just to honor Brian. During the funeral as I read Brian's journal I had a chance to look in the the seats. My heart was over whelmed to see the seats full. On the way to the cemetary people were stopped and waitting on the side of the road to honor Brian as he went by. Afterward, there were so many people that came to me and said we didn't know Brian but we wanted to pay our respects. Since then I have gotten letters, cards and calls from different people all over the US saying that they are praying for me and my kids and that they will never forget Brian. To all these people words cannot express how thankful I am. We keep Brian alive through our memories and all though some of you did not know him you know that he died a hero, fighting for what he believed in. I pray that you would keep your word and never forget him, because to forget him is to allow him die. I am so very proud of my husband and one day my girls will know that their father died a true hero.Once again I would like to thank you all and if any of you would like to contact me feel free to do so.

PFC Bradbury was one of a kind. I had the privelige of serving with him in Afghanistan. He is a hero that saved many lives that day on that mountain. He was the smallest guy on the team, yet he always carried the most wieght, not complaining once. He will never be forgotten and always remembered.

I am the mother of the fallen Hero, PFC Brian Bradbury,I'm writing to thank people for all the support that you've shone for my son. It's been difficult but I think about all the people, whom didn't even know him, give up their Sat. to honor such a shy, bashful young man. The people standing at the side of the road waiting to honor him has done more for me than what you believe. When I think about it ,it brings happiness to know he got such a great ceremony.Iwould like to contact or be contacted by anyone who wants to. I would like to visit with anyone who has a son ,brother or dad that is serving with the 371-Fisters. I would like to be able to send care packages again, in Brys name. Thanks again for all your support.

To the Entire Bradbury Family,
Our son, Spc. Nicholas Rose, was with your son in Afghanistan. They were both Medics with the 3-71st Cav Recon who laughed together, trained together, and fought together. We were recently able to visit with our son and could see the anguish in his face as he spoke of the loss of his friend Brian. Nick and I read about the funeral on the Patriot Gaurd Riders website and were touched by the send-off that was given to this American Hero. We will never forget Brian and his friendship to our son and his dedication to his country.

Dear Bradbury Family:
My step-son Patrick Lybert was killed in action on 6/21/06 with your son, along with another soldier from Fort Drum, as well. I know we will never fully recover from what has happened. Please accept my condolences and please feel to contact us with anything you may wish to ask My son was a staff seargeant and was to be promoted to that position in July. He was to be on leave in July and was to become officially engaged at that time. He leaves behind one older brother who works for a defense firm in Neveda but is a civilian and one younger brother who has asperger's syndrome (a form of autism ) and who is currently 19. His plan was to return here after his service to always be there as a caretaker for his younger brother.
I know nothing we say will bring them back, but I hope for your family the strength to move forward as they would have wanted us to do. We will always have their memories to go forward with. May God bless Terry Nussberger

Dear Bradbury Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My Son Brian Moquin was also from the 71st Cavalry 10th Mnt Div Fort Drum. I lost him this past May 5, 2006 in Afghanistan. I know how you feel. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you & hope that someday the pain we feel fades. The memories shall go on forever. Our sons are heros. They are free now.

To the Family of Pfc. Brian Bradbury;
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courgeous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guestbook for the rest of my life. We lost a son 12/1/05 and it seems like yesterday.
I know first hand there are no words right now that will bring you the comfort and peace you need. Just know that you are not alone. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you mourn this loss. We don't know each other, will probably never meet, but will forever be united in the loss of our Heroes. We have, unfortunately joined a group none of us wanted to join, an ever-growing group of families in this situation. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and be able once again to smile at a memory rather than have only the tears that flow so easily now. To be so proud of your loved one and so saddened at the same time is a mix of emotions very difficult to deal with. I am sorry that I never knew your soldier personally, but none of these courageous men and women will be forgotten. They will never be able to be replaced, but sometime, someday your loving memories will help to sustain you. This courageous soldier will forever now be your Angel watching over you all for the rest of your lives. It's what brings me some measure of peace and comfort and I hope it will you as well. To his family and friends in pain, I offer this comfort: When you find yourself in that dark sorrowful place, think not only of how you will miss him, but instead recall the years, days, hours and minutes gifted to you by his presence. The one thing that cannot be taken from you is those wonderful memories that now will mean more than ever. If you ever want to talk, I'm only an e:mail away and would love for you to tell me more about your Hero. God Bless this courageous soldier and family.
