Qixing,
I want you and your family to know you are in my heart and on my mind. Here lately. I was thinking on Moving. Still living in Texas. But I'm hoping we can move to Minnesota. Which I was wondering what was really drawing me there. But then I thought of you. I remembered that you are from Minnesota. So my Family and I have decided to move there. We don't know when we will be moving. But I'm hoping in maybe a few years. We will be visiting. Maybe in 2025. Always missed.

Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Qixing Hwjhuam Lee US Army Specialist.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Hey Qixing. Your brother-in-law & I were blessed with a daughter! I can see your smiling face right now; teasing us that after three princes we've finally gotten our little princess. I know that with all of your nieces and nephews you would've had so much fun. I know you would have been a great uncle to them.
We miss you so much. You're never forgotten, always here in our hearts. I really wish you were here right now Quick, I really do. You left us too soon, we still needed your guidance. Please keep watch over all of us like you always have. It's never 'Good-bye', it's always 'See you later.' So, See you later Qixing. We love you.

To the family of Spc. Qixing Lee:
As you may know, the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation has honored your loved one at its Memorial Day Sunday worship service (each year in May) … since the time of your fallen hero's ultimate sacrifice. We will continue to pay tribute to our nation's veterans … lest we ever forget!
Now we would like to honor you … as the next-of-kin … who have also paid a great price on the altar of liberty. On Sunday 29 September at 11:00 a.m. we will host a Gold Star Family Sunday.
I would like to extend to your family an invitation to honor us with your presence at worship … as we pay tribute to your sacrifice. Our pastor, U.S. Army Chaplain (Colonel-Retired) Kenneth L. Beale, Jr., will preach a message entitled, “By Dying, We Live.” The special music will be the husband/wife vocal/piano — Wickman Duo. Following the worship experience, your family is invited to attend a social time in our Fellowship Hall … with some light refreshments.
As this historic chapel has limited seating, we would be happy to reserve seating for you and yours. To do so, kindly call (651/286-7296) and leave a voice message indicating your veterans' name and the number of persons attending. For more information about the Foundation or driving directions to the historic chapel at Fort Snelling, visit our website at: www.fortsnellingmcf.org
If you are not able to attend, we pray that you would find comfort in knowing that our prayers are with you and all of the fallen heroes.
Respectfully,

Hey Qixing!
This past Saturday, John & I went to grill over at mom & dads in Minneapolis. We had a fun time. Liang & Mouwang ran with my kids in the yard, dad was outside doing his usual grilling,Mei was inside socializing, mom and I were going in and out helping where it was needed.
The only people missing from the equation were You and Ying.
When we left I looked at everyone standing on the porch... and I said to my Husband, "Hun look, we're all grown up now. I remember when we used to be small growing up in this house. I miss everyone." We drove away and I took a look back at the house, and I could see youstanding there, smiling with that cheesy smile you always have and waving back at me.
I miss you so much. We all do, but I know you wouldn't want us cry out of sadness but joy. Joy that now, you're finally somewhere no one can hurt you, and where you can be our Guardian Angel and watch over us. I Love you Qixing.

Qixing,
I miss you. I was on youtube today, and ended up watching military homecoming videos. Funny huh? When youtube directs you to videos you weren't originally there to watch.
Anyways, I ended up watching hours of homecoming videos, and every time a soldier came home I cried.
I thought about how it would be when you came home. What it could have been. Memorial Day is this weekend, I'll come by and say 'Hello'. Mom invited my family and I to go over to the Minneapolis house to grill. I wish you were here with us. It would've been a blast... We miss & Love you Hwjhuam. I hope you know that you are and will always be, My Hero. Like you've always said, "There is never a 'Good-bye', it's always "See You Later."

To the family of Spc. Qixing Lee:
The Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation will be honoring your loved one at the non-denominational Christian Memorial Day Remembrance worship service at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, 26 May 2013. We will remember the casualties of the Global War on Terrorism from Minnesota … and the bordering states of Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Outside of the historic Fort Snelling Veterans Memorial Chapel will be a “Memorial Garden” filled with some 300 white crosses bearing the names of the war dead … including your loved one.
The Memorial Garden will be encircled with larger white crosses representing all of the wars of our nation's history and give honor to all who have served in the United States Armed Forces and made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today. Wreaths will be placed at the foot of each 8-foot cross bearing the number of U.S. Service Members killed in each of America's conflicts.
I would like to extend to your family an invitation to honor us with your presence at worship as we pay tribute to the sacrifice made by your service member and family. Our pastor, Kenneth L. Beale, Jr., will preach a message entitled, “Freedom:Free, but Costly.” At the conclusion of the worship hour, all of the congregation will be invited to silently pay their respects at the garden and there place poppies at each of the crosses. A Memorial Rifle Squad of the Fort Snelling National Cemetery will fire vollies as the US flag is lowered to half-staff and Taps is played. Following your visit to the Memorial Garden, your family is invited to attend an informal reception (weather permitting) outside of the Chapel. The Memorial Garden will remain until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 27 May (Memorial Day).
As this Christian worship service has traditionally been well attended, we would be happy to reserve seating for you and yours. To do so, kindly call (651/286-7296) and leave a voice message indicating your veterans' name and the number of persons attending. For more information about the Foundation or driving directions to the historic chapel at Fort Snelling, visit our website at: www.fortsnellingmcf.org Special rates for nearby hotels will be available. For more information call (651/286-7296) or email the office ([email protected]) and leave your name and contact information.
Also, beginning at dusk (8:30 p.m.) on Saturday 25 May through dawn (6:30 a.m.) on Sunday, 26 May, a “Prayer Vigil for Peace” will be held in the sanctuary of the Chapel. You are invited to stop by, light a candle and place it at the foot of your loved one's cross in the Memorial Garden … and then enter the Chapel for prayer.
If you are not able to attend, we pray that you would find comfort in knowing that our prayers are with you and all of the fallen heroes.

Hi Qixing,
I miss you. It's been years since the tragedy. I still think about you all the time and I always wonder "What if?" You lived your life to the fullest.
Although I wanted to spend more time with you it was cut short. I miss you Quicksand, sometimes I wonder what I'm doing in life. Sometime I feel like I just want to give up trying but then I think about your nephews and brother-in-law. I wish you could've met them.
My oldest is now three and he is a handful. My 21 month old son is a talker. You would've had fun playing with them and breaking up their fights. (Yes, they fight each other a lot.) I know you would have been a great Uncle to them.
You will always be remembered, loved and missed.

Quick,
I miss you. It's been a while since I have gone to see you. It's been such a long time since you left this world. My oldest is 2 years old now, and my youngest just turned one. I wish that you were here to embrace them and show them what a wonderful Uncle and Brother you are.
I've been thinking a lot lately about how different things would be if you were still here with us. I wish I could've talked to you more and spent more time. Now I find myself regretting the time not spent. You were always there for me when I needed you the most. Thank you for being there and always listening to me. Thank you for being the brother that I needed.
I'm happy now with my life. Things aren't going as planned, however time doesn't wait for me. I'm getting older and settled down with a man that loves, cares and respects me. I wish you could have met him. He's a great man, the both of you would have been good friends.

Brother,
It's been so long since I've been home. Things have changed and I've pushed so far that I wish you could've been here to see my family and I. The war is over, and a new year has started. I've done as much as I can to follow through your mission. You've done so much in such a short time, my only regret is I should've kept in touch more than just talk to you while in the sandbox. God be with you, watch over us all.

Son my hero, this year we have a gathering for Christmas for the first time in five years. I been waiting for you to return home from Iraq for while now, but this year the family get together with all your sibling, your nephew, chen and her husband, grandma Bea, and grandma Dia to celebrate Jesus birthday without you. I know that you and your friends are up there with Jesus himself and celebrate His birthday with Him. well merry Christmas to you and your friends up there. I will always miss you and I will never quit waiting for you to return home. I keep thinking that all this time maybe you got lost some where and some how you can not find your way home. I waited for five years now hoping that one day you will call and said pick you up at the air port. I miss you though.
December 22, 2011
To think that it has been five years. When I cook, I automatically cook for all 8 of us. And I have to step back and remember that I am not cooking for 8 anymore. Time really doesn't wait for anyone, no matter what the circumstances. It still feels as if you will be coming home even though you came home 5 years ago. I look back at our old family photos and I remember the good times. I'm glad that those memories are what helps me move on. Miss you.

To the family of Spc Qixing Lee:
The Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation will be honoring your loved one at the non-denominational Memorial Day Sunday worship service at 11:00 a.m. on 29 May 2011. We will remember the casualties of the Global War on Terrorism from Minnesota … and the neighboring states of Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Outside of the historic Fort Snelling Veterans Memorial Chapel will be a “Memorial Garden” filled with some 200 white crosses bearing the names of the war dead … including your loved one. The Memorial Garden’s perimeter will be manned by members of the Patriot Guard and a honor guard from AMVETS Post #1 of Mendota will be posted at the entrance.
The Memorial Garden will be encircled with larger white crosses representing all of the wars in United States history and give honor to all who have served their country and made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today. Wreaths will be placed at the foot of each cross bearing the number of U.S. Service Members killed in each of our nation’s wars.
I would like to extend to your family an invitation to honor us with your presence at worship as we pay tribute to the sacrifice made by your service member and family. Our pastor, U.S. Army Chaplain Col. Kenneth L. Beale, Jr., will preach a message entitled, “A Believer’s Look at War.” At the conclusion of the worship hour, all of the congregation will be invited to silently pay their respects at the garden and place poppies at each of the crosses. A Memorial Rifle Squad of Fort Snelling National Cemetery will fire vollies as the US flag is lowered to half-staff and Taps is played. Following your visit to the memorial garden, your family is invited to attend an informal reception (weather permitting) outside of the Chapel.
As this Christian worship service has traditionally been well attended, we would be happy to reserve seating for you and yours. To do so, kindly call (651/456-4410) and leave a voice message indicating your veterans’ name and the number of persons attending. For more information about the Foundation or driving directions to the historic chapel at Fort Snelling, visit our website at: www.fortsnellingmcf.org Special rates for nearby hotels will be available. For more information call (651/456-4410) or email ([email protected]) the office and leave your name and contact information.
Also, beginning at dusk (8:30 p.m.) on Sat 28 May through dawn (6:30 a.m.) on Sun 29 May, a “Prayer Vigil for Peace” will be held in the sanctuary of the Chapel. You are invited to stop by, light a candle and place it at the foot of your loved one’s cross in the Memorial Garden … and then enter the Chapel for prayer.
If you are not able to attend, we pray that you would find comfort in knowing that our prayers are with you and all of the fallen heroes.
Respectfully,
Leila Campbell

For bringing great joy and laughter into my life. Know that Toukiee and I will never forget you and we only wait until the day to meet you again.

When times are though, I remember your big heart and encouraging presence. As things crash down and are built back up, I remember your strength. There are tears of laughter and tears of sadness; knowing that you are no longer here, yet your presence remains in our memories. And since you're away now, you'll get to laugh watching me grow as I bide my time before I see you. My adventures of stumbling love and ambition to grow will keep me busy while you rest and wait. With much love, your second sis, Mei.
This was ONLY the beginning...
