I can´t imagine what your family has gone through. I´ve never lost a child, and that has to be the most painful thing imaginable. I´ve lost siblings, and my sister Karen (whose birthday is today), died this year. She was my "twin". I am 11 months and three weeks older, but for one week a year, we were the same age. Grief can´t be compared, but losing Eric while he was so young must have been so unbearable. I grieve for the loss of your son. And your brother. We move on, but we never forget. Nor should we.

To the family of Eric Kruger. I went to high school with Eric. One funny memory I will share is buddies - Todd Rominger, Dale Oldfield, Kenny Hunter, Paul Ford, Scott Messick and a couple of other friends went to go see the movie Ghostbusters! We sat and took up almost the whole front row! I´m sure we acted crazy as most high schoolers do. Then we pulled all back in Romingers van and went to eat pizza together! That was one crazy funny time!
Thanking you all and him for his service to America!
I hope that funny memory you can picture. God bless you all! Praying for you today

15 years since that terrible day & not a day goes by that we don´t think about you. I remember one year when you were here in NY in Election Day and you were glued to the tv at the restaurant we went to. It was the Gore/Bush election. I learned so much from you. The pride & love for Our Country that you have was a part of what made you so incredible. I can´t take away the pain your family feels but the world is a better place for having had you in it. Thank you for your service & I pray that those who loved you can find some peace in all the happy memories that you have. You are all always in my heart & on my mind.

My dear and sorely missed son, On this Memorial Day I miss you more than ever. I spoke with your children in Colorado yesterday and told them stories about you growing up and how fast they are growing up. Christian says he wants to go to Texas A&M and I am encouraging him. It will be a little bit longer before Elise can go to college. However, she says she wants to go to Texas A&M also. Of course I am encouraging her also.
The family received a very nice greeting from Kyle Thomas. Ii was over two paragraphs long and reminisced about the days were had at Ravencroft Drive. It was heartwarming to read as it brought back so many wonderful memories.
Finally, I want you know that Christian got a promotion in his present job. We are all so proud of him.Elise is also burning up the school with honors grades. She has become such a wonderful person. You wouls be so proud of both of them.

Dear Eric: Another Memorial Day is here and another time for me to remember you. You were the best and I will always miss you. While times are difficult now for the country your sacrifice is still revered by us all. You were totally right when you said we better fight them over there or we will surely have to fight them here. Your words had the wisdom of King Solomon. "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; Do not be discouraged." I took this quote from something you had underlined in your FCA Holy Bible.
Rest in Peace my son and God bless you and all our military who have paid the price for our country.

Happy Easter to you Eric:
May you be blessed and remembered on this day of the resurrection of our Lord. I still miss you and appreciate what a proud Father you made me all the years you were here with us. I went to Gilmer this Thursday and remembered all the great times we had there together. Doug said he remembered the day we caught 42 fish at the 4D Stock Farm. If only we could relive those days again. I will be thinking about you more than I usually do on this very special time of Easter.

Happy Birthday Eric: It is always with a very warm feeling that I remember the day you were born. I hope they celebrate birthday's in eternity and that you have one great celebration. I miss you and will remember the wonderful times we had together forever.
It is hard to believe that you be 49 years old. It seems to me that it was only yesterday that you were born.
Love ya,
Pappason
