To the family of Sgt. Nimo W. Tauala:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

Hi Uncle Wes, I'm in personal finance right now and we are supposed to be buying stocks online but I chose to come and leave you a little something just to tell you that we still love and miss you and trust me, we have never forgotten you Uncle. I hope one day our whole family can be in heaven and finally meet up with you again..I went to church and the pastor said that when Jesus cames again the first people he will take are the loved ones that weve lost. Jesus is going to sa to you, "Arise my child" and he will have a place prepared for us. I love you Uncle Wes.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.
REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

What's going on Nimo, It's about that time for us to pack up and head back to Hawaii and all I think about is that bet that me you and vilt made before new year's to stop smoking and who ever loss the bet would have to buy the first keg once we returned. Their would be dayz that I sit around and smoke a cigarette hoping that you'll come around the corner and say "first keg on you" (LOL). But now your in better place where there are no more worries. Deep inside I know that your still here by our sides so I know we're all in good hands. But until we meet again continue to shine down on us and remember that you'll never be forgotten. Wassup Cuz! Damn... I really don't know where to start... Well I guess I'll start with " I Miss You " Your departure has come so suddenly, I still can't shake the thought of You not being here. Then shortly after your dear sister had another blow with Aunty O'omai comin' home too ( God Rest Her Soul ). I can sure say one thing for sure though, I'm actually witnessing our Aiga gradually getting closer. Thank God. It's funny how only now that You've left us I'm actually taking a closer look @ life and the values people should keep close to them. Well I'll be signing in a lil' bit later otay. say Hello to My Daddy for me and Aunty O'omai too. I Love You Cuz.

Nimo.
My last summer in Hawai'i, you spent nearly every weekend with myself and Chris Sullivan.
We worked together, we fought together, we laughed together, and we cried together, but never did I imagine that for one instance you would leave this place before I did.
Even as I sit writing this memorial to you, I still see your laugh, and smile, and remember the person you were.
Sitting in my apartment in Aiea, as we were smoking on the balcony looking over the harbour, I vividly remember looking over at you and calling you "friend, and a brother." And Nimo, you are still now my brother and you are missed.
Peace unto all to you who grieve for this man. His spirit is free now and he is with his maker.
Much Luv Cuz.
Much Luv.
