My condolences to this hero and his family, your life on earth has ended but you are now serving in a bigger Army and for a greater cause. God has now a warrior that will see over his loved ones on earth and continue the the fight to end all wars. Love from a Vietnam Vet who loves you even though I never met you. Now as in the past war is for the young and you will live forever in the hearts of those you left behind.

To his family, know that you are not alone. We lost our wonderful son, Cpl Kenneth E Necochea, to a suicide bomber in Kandahar Afghanistan on 12/12/10. I pray that you can navigate the journey in front of you.
I will proudly escort your hero with the Patriot Guard Riders on Thursday as he makes his journey from San Diego to his final resting place.

I am a medic out here in Afghanistan. I have worked with SPC Acosta, and he is one of the best medics I have met in my military career. He was very brave! When I heard about the accident I had it in my heart he was going to make it because he is a strong individual. I couldn't believe it when I heard the bad news. I know he is up there with the Lord watching over all of us! May GOD bless his family in this tough time. Acosta... YOU WILL BE MISSED!!!!!!!!!

Three months ago I lost my 21 year old son in Afghanistan and as a mother the pain will always be there.
