I served with a Jessica Wing when I was stationed in Hawaii with the 1-25th Avn regt . She was my roommate in the barracks. Tonite I decided to look up some old friends via google/ fb that I served with .. I believe she was the Jessica Wing I had served with. I'm sorry to hear of her passing . She made me laugh. I only wished that we had kept in contact. I am honored to have called her my friend.

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who work to send handmade prayer shawls and/or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one while serving our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church would like to honor your daughter's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a prayer gift which will be mailed to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses of those who would like to receive one and which gift they would like to receive. We will send our gift as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved on who died while serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Jessica was my neighbor in Bowdoinham until she graduated high school and joined the Army. My family has so many good memories of her that we have shared recently. She will always have a special place in my heart as does her mother Bonnie who was like a sister to me who passed away 2 years ago. They are now together forever. Jessica made us proud with her never ending service to her country. My heart goes out to Allison,Stephanie and their families.

Jessica life was full of all that she was, she was love, courage, strong, and compassion, always giving of herself. Someone I truly would love to have been myself. She is now with the angels and all of heaven, by the pleasant streams, valleys, and heavens glory. She will be missed greatly.

I remember Jessisca as a clever, bright and funny girl, keeping up with her big sisters easily enough. Sledding down the old logging road across the road, facing down the gaggle of geese in the yard, playing crocet in the back yard, watching MASH upstairs and seeing how much popcorn we could fit in a glass of milk before it started flowing over (a surprising amount, actually). I was friends with Allison, but my young memories are filled with all three Wing girls. I am so sorry to hear of Jessica's death, and offer prayers and thoughts to her family and friends and all the people she leaves behind.

Jess,
OMG. I have so much to say! I Love you soo much. The kids are sad and miss you so. I don't think you knew just how much of an impression on our lives that you made. I watched the birthday video today...I made you dance with me and you did! All of those people in that room that night you made us feel welcomed and appreciated. I know that they all miss you as much as I do! Like you said to me a thousand times before.... love you girl! Always watch over us and know that we will be by your side someday! xoxox

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Jessica will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn't make it home.
I know you're in God's presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .
I Salute You.
