Mom it has been 10 years now since you passed and went to heaven. The days never go by without looking up and saying I love you, and miss you dearly. The most I miss is your smile and encouragement you always gave me growing up even being a mom I see a lot of you in myself. Our daily talks on the phone is what I also miss. We always talked about the dogs and the kids. It is never the same when a person loses their mother. I love you and one day I will see you again.
Love you,

Dear Mom, I can't believe it is year 2011, or 9 years after your passing that your name still shows up on Google! How comforting it is to find you again in Cyberspace and re-read how much you meant to so many other people. Gratefully, your legacy DOES live ON! I hope to see you one day...to chat, laugh, hear your piano playing and talk about dogs! You were a huge impact upon my life and I enjoyed our friendship more than you will ever know!

It's been 8 years since your passing, Mom, but I couldn't resist "Googling" your name. What an honor to see you are still alive in cyberspace, spirit and LOVE! The words contained in the pages on this site exude admiration and love and it is wonderful that your story lives on. I feel you every day, understand the admiration, and miss you so much, especially our many conversations.

Karen & Sheila,
Jimmie was a great friend to me when we lived in Houston. I had a birthday dinner for her every January and, of course, the dogs were always invited. My Bridget and Cody were always thrilled to see the van arrive.
My Cody bred with Jimmie's Bea and what a time we had delivering those puppies!
I have so very many happy memories of my times with Jimmie. Today I had a Cavalier question and picked up the phone to call her. The disconnected line worried me right away.
I lost my Mother last year, Karen do you remember her from the Christmas dessert parties I had in Tanglewood? I know your pain and you have my deepest sympathy.

I wanted to thank each and every one of you who have expressed your admiration and love for my mother, as she was truly a special lady.
Mother's zest for her dogs came as no surprise, as she approached life and every endeavor encountered over the years with the same zest, pleasure, candor and humor!
The tribute left here by mom's relatives and friends have meant more to me than you will ever know!
I too am a dog lover (wonder where I got that?) and know that mother and my three girls who recently passed, Yorkies Dolly, Crystal and Tinker, are all in good hands now.
God bless each and every one of you for all of your kind words and support during this difficult time.
It's truely rewarding to know that she touched the lives of so many.
I love you and miss you, Mom!

Karen & Sheila,
I was saddened to hear of Aunt Jimmie's passing. I have fond memories of her while growing up. She was brilliant on the piano. I often think of those wonderful family reunions we had at Aunt Molly's & Uncle Bill's in Tomball.
My heartfelt sympathy.

I never met Jimmie Lee in person. I just knew her from the Cavalier KCS list that she was on. Jimmie Lee loved her dogs and was determined to do the best job breeding them that she could. Not one to let modern technology stop her she learned to use a computer and email and was a delightful contributing member of our list. She never felt that she was too old to learn something new. I greatly admired her and enjoyed the correspondence I had with her over the years. She will be greatly missed.

Jimmie Lee allowed two of Robin's puppies into my home in late 1994. Jimmie and my dogs will always be in my heart with great love and thankfulness. Thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge and love of the breed.

My only memory of Jimmie Lee is of over 15 years ago at christmas time at her house with her family and my Grandpa Jack Sirman, and my aunts and uncles. I have just received pictures of that day and remember what a happy day that was. My condolences to all.

I wil always remember Jimmie Lee as having a wonderful sense of humor usually amidst what some would view as a serious problem When our van was stolen at a dog show, she recounted with gusto how her SUV disappeared at yet another show until she had us laughing. Her love for life and for her dogs was outstanding, and she will be missed.

I had many conversations with Jimmie when I was looking for my ruby boy. Although I didn't get 1 of her puppies, I grew to love and respect her for her knowledge and kindness. I am so saddened by her passing, but I can only imagine the beautiful reunion she had at the Rainbow Bridge.

We are extremely sorry to hear of the loss of another great animal lover. To have loved her beloved dogs is next to living with angels. Now she is playing in heaven with all the dogs at the rainbow bridge.

Jimmie Lee was one of the most ethical, responsible dog breeders I have ever known - in any breed. Her love and concern for cavaliers was apparent in everything she did. I spoke with her a short while ago and she was still talking about breeding her next litter and trying to better her bloodlines. If we could all have just a portion of her ethics and morals the world
would be a much finer place. I have placed a tribute to Jimmie Lee on the front page of Cavaliers Online with a few pictures. http://www.cavaliersonline.com
My sympathy to all of her family and friends.

Jimmie Lee was one of the first people I met when I obtained my first Cavalier. Through the years she has been an example for all of us to follow. Her humor, friendliness and dedication to the Cavalier will be missed very much. She must certainly have known that Susie was with her and crossed the bridge to be met by many, many friends of the 2 and 4 legged varieties. In fact, she's probably at a heavenly dog show right now!

To the family of Jimmie Roberts,
Joe & I were saddened to hear of the passing of "Aunt Jimmie." Our closest link to her was through Kathy Torkelson and Susie Morris, her nieces. We met and dined with Aunt Jimmie a year or so ago and discovered she was an extremely vibrant, articulate, and beautiful lady. We know she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Jimmie and I were the two Dog People in the family......at least we were the two WE knew about, and although the family link is a little weak, the dog show link was strong!!! We had several long conversations about each dog, her plans for them, her beginning plans and how they developed........... She was a lovely woman and I'm going to miss our phone time. I LOVE her priorities as to where to send donations. Now THAT"S a dog person for ya.

Karen & Sheila,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mother. Your family has always had a special place in my heart since I was named after your Grandmother Sue. Reading about your Mother, I just realized how the phrase "pianist at the Baptist Church" shows up in our family history.
Keep in touch. Your 2nd cousin.

Dear Sheila and Karen,
Sue and I are very proud of you. We loved your mother dearly. Our thoughts are with you. We know Jimmie is in a better place, but we and many others will miss her dearly. I thought you would like to know that I found out about this site from Nora Glick who I am in contact with through email and the genealogy for the family. Kathy
