Smith, Robert L. "Bob", 68, attorney, died Monday, November 07, 2005. Service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 10, at East Heights United Methodist Church. Bob was born in Oklahoma City and graduated from Wichita East High in 1956. He received a degree in Geology from WSU and a Law degree from Washburn. Bob was an Attorney and Partner at Boyer, Donaldson and Stewart Law Firm. Preceded by his parents, Avery H. and Britta Fay (Holley) Smith and brother, Wayne Smith. Survivors: wife of 44 years, Janet Smith; sons, Rob Smith (Rachelle) of Overland Park, KS and Stephen Smith (Gretchen) of Fairfield, CT; brother, Kirk H. Smith of Hamilton, MT; sister, Vicki Schmidlapp of Winona, MN; grandchildren, Hannah, Annie, William, and Jack. Memorials have been established with East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67218 and Larksfield Health Care Center, 7373 E. 29th St. N., Wichita, KS, 67226. Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Tributes may be sent to the family via www.downingandlahey.com

We are sick to hear of Bob's passing. He was a dear man and will be missed by all that knew him. I have known Bob for most of my life. It is very sad to both Jack and I to realize that he and Rod Wilson are both gone.
