Alma Lee Holcomb

GILMER -- Services for Alma Lee Holcomb, 77, of Gilmer, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2006, at Little Mound Baptist Church in Upshur County, Texas, with Brother Dickie Mauk officiating. Mrs. Holcomb died February 8, 2006, in Longview, Texas. She was born July 7, 1928, in Franklin County, Texas, to Fred and Trudy Ellen Acker Scroggins. She married David Holcomb on April 26, 1963, in Dallas. He preceded her in death in December of 2002. Mrs. Holcomb was a court administrator for the county of Dallas. She is survived by her son, William David Holden of Houston; daughter, Catherine Ann Deatherage of Dallas; and sister, Margie Pearce of Gilmer. Pallbearers will be Aaron Smith, Steve Simpson, Rusty Simpson, Jeremy Long, Randy Simpson, and Travis Simpson.
