John, I miss you..(Like so,so many of us do),
I miss your smile..I miss the way that you would laugh at anything, someone had to say (when you knew it was going to make them feel better....) Your heart was always there...I hope you are proud of me!

my father had been best friends with john, and john was actually coming from my house when he was in the accident. and i tore me up everyday this past year. John was the big brother i never had, he was there for some things my dad wasnt. He would come for dinner, and he was just a part of the family. Sometimes i would wake up and hed be in my kitchen unexpectedly. I mean he was welcome in our house, and it was comforting having him there. When i found out about the accident, after my 8th grade graduation dance, i was so shocked i couldnt even show emotion. It hit me that this was acutally real about 2 days later, then it hit me harder at his funeral. I would walk down every single day to his memorial site for about 2 weeks just sitting on the grass thinking. The anniversary of johns death is cmoing up, and i hope that everyone can remember the good of john, and be there for eachother.

I cannot begin to tell you how my heart goes out to all of you. What to say about John, difficult, but truly a kind, sweet , funny man.Made me laugh when I needed it. I'll never forget him in his work uniform, sitting on the bed teaching me how to knit. Funniest thing ever. God, he loved his family, just talking about all of you would make that big tough guy cry. You are so lucky to have someone love you so much.I feel so blessed to have been a part of his life, and I will miss him always. My prayers are always with all of you. Audrey

Buscemi Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you be overwhelmed with strength from family and friends. There's a special place in Heaven for those who give so much to others as John did. He was always smiling and willing to help others. I have seen him leaning over the engine compartment of my brother Rob's vehicles many times. He always had a smile on his face and conversation to match. He will be truly missed by all.

To my Aunt & Uncle, cousins, and all their friends and family. I am sorry for your loss. Your family has been through so much. You and I both know that he was taken by God for a reason. A reason beyond our control. We have to trust in his plan for our lives even with all the pain associated with it. He is in a better place right now with my mother and my sister Sam and his brothers and sister Marcy. He is happy. Let us be happy for him and remember that Jesus is coming for us too, so let us all be ready for him. If I can do anything for any of you, please please do not hesitate to ask. We are family and will always be family. God Bless each and every one of you.

To The Buscemi Family,
It's been almost 30 years since my time at Queen of All Saints School where I attended 4th - 8th grade. During those years I grew to know the Buscemi family through the Wilsons, who lived up the street from us on Edmonton Way. I remember John very vividly, side by side with Ted Elsberry rocking Joanne Wilson's station wagon as she dropped off a packed car of kids in front of the school. The boys were always up to something, but treated Joanne like gold. The thought of John's passing is absolutly crushing. I am so very saddened for the Buscemi family for enduring yet another trajedy. My thoughts are with you all as you hold each other up through all of this. God bless.

To Lois, and Ralph, Im so sorry for your loss of John. He was a man with a beautiful spirit. My heart aches for you, and all of your family. I had'nt seen John since we we broke up around 15 years ago. I dont know if you remember me but my two sons were around 2 and 4 years old at the time. The two of you came to my place for dinner once, and I remember having dinner at your home a few times. Lois you gave me some great parenting tips, also shared some stories with me in regards to when your children were babies and teens. I felt such warmth and love in your home and I can only imagine the pain your feeling in your lives right now. John was an incredible person. Very compassionate, and deep, when you got to know him. He will be missed by many. My heart and my prayers are with you everyday. Sincerely, Darla
