Wright & Smith Families:

Now that the physical body has entered into the house of the Lord, perhaps the family can now take time to console one another through this difficult time. (see John, 3:15-16, John 11:25-26)

Jo-Jo was raised as a believer in Christ. This was evident during the outpouring of his going home ceremony. Just as he would have liked it, anticipated tears of sorrow followed by laughter and joy.

As we all know, Jo-Jo was instrumental with coaching and mentoring our youth. We will miss his presence on the sidelines during football season. Hey Jo-Jo, you are finally a SAINT. Not a Bethlehem Saint, but a true Saint.

We send our condolences, the Bethelem Saints Midget Football Program Board & Coaches.

JOJO,

I remember times we shared

good ones and bad ones

at least we had some.

I remember our disagreements

and how we fought about them

I never really thought about them.

We always laughd and joked, from childhood to adulthood,

from my hood to your hood

and now i just wish we could.

We had our own way of interacting

the way we would greet when we meet

but I never got to say goodbye

If I could turn back the hands of time

and we could do it all again

I'd only change the end

....ayo,you leavin.I see you later & I LOVE YOU JoJo

Wow, where do i start and what is there to say that hasn't been said about u big dawg.. Jo, i am sure u know how much respect and love i had for u as a man, and also as a older brother.. U allowed me to be me where ever we were no matter what. I was searching for something growing and u are a big reason why i am who i am. I wanted to be that gentle giant u were. That funny friend that everyone wished they had. And mainly that person who changed tons of peoples lives without taking credit for it.. Life has a strange way of playing out. But i realize that god made u that person u were for a reason. He knew how long u were going to be a part of our lives, so he blessed u with those unique qualities for a very good reason... To impact the lives of those u came in contact with whenever yall met... I Love You man and words cant express how i really feel.... I got us i swear to god!!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Wright Family during this time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I wanted to let you all know that Jo-Jo was one of the most inspirational and influential young men that I have ever had the opportunity and blessing of having as a friend, Protégé, and employee.

Many people may not know how influential he was in helping to shape the many programs at the Allentown Boys & Girls Club, (1996-2000) and the Valania Park Summer Basketball program (2000-2004) where he served as one of my most admired (and sometimes notorious) program staff and volunteers. His ‘Pied Piper’ like personality gave him the ability to draw Kids like a magnet! He was an inspiration to hundreds of youth!

Jo-Jo’s quick wit and ability to make me laugh, when there was absolutely nothing to laugh about, will surely be missed. God Bless

Sincerely, Kevin Easterling

Effie and family,

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. JoJo will be remembered by many. He has touched the lives of many children. He participated as a youth coach consistently. He coached my son Garrett for several years in youth football. It was a memorable experience for him. Garrett like many others will definitely miss JoJo. Again you have our regrets.

Jo-Jo as I sit here I see your smiling face that will never be forgotten. I miss you. GOD has chosen another angel to watch over us. Until we meet again.

I love you,

Aunt Deloris
