Dear Dr. Gevirtz and family,
I knew Dr. Mao as my general internist while she practiced with Dr. Bub. I was so disappointed when she left the practice as she was the bestest and nicest physician I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing. She always had a caring attitude and took the time to listen, never hurrying or rushing me. I am so sorry for your loss, but I know she will remain forever in your hearts.

Dear Jeff, Rachel and Sam,
My heart is breaking for you . I remember Nancy ONLY in vibrant good health with a lively sense of humor. Her calm demeanor, even in the midst of the chaos of the Camp Harlam Mirpa'ah sick call was contagious and reassuring. Words are useless, and happy memories help the pain.
With great affection,
Lisa Simon Jablon, former Camp Harlam Nurse

Dear Jeffrey and family,
We were very saddened to hear about the passing of Nancy. We know that we met you for only a few times during holiday celebrations, but we certainly enjoyed getting together with the Mao family during the Christmas holidays - the Christmas day dinners were always memorable and of the course it was never complete without the sing a long - always made special with Uncle Mike on the piano and Mr. Mao and Mr. Yee singing. Wishing you and your family strength and peace during this difficult time.

Jeff, Sam, and Rachel.

We have many happy memories of Nancy. One of Stewart's and my favorite memories of Nancy is her famous "Nancy Mao Chicken" - no one could make better chicken. We also loved sitting around the apartment on the blue couch looking at Narragansett Bay. We had a great time last Summer in Newport at the beach and the Tennis Hall of Fame. Also, when we went to Providence and visited Brown University and the apartments Nancy lived in. We will miss her.

Love Rebecca, Stewart, Sarah and Isaac Landau.

Dear Jeff, Sam, and Rachel
and Dear Aunt Rita, Kim, Elaine and your families,

Our very deepest sympathies are with all of you on your very deep loss of a unique wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Our cousin Nancy was always so well respected for her courage, her strength of character, and her determination. She had a beautiful, strong presence and an easy gentleness and smile. We may not have shared many moments together, but when we did, we always wished we could see more of her.

Words are not enough during this time. Please accept our most earnest condolences as we share with you some of your sorrow. We have you in our thoughts and pray for you. It has been a honour to have known Nancy, and a great loss for the whole Cheng Family.

We have always had Nancy in our prayers. Joy will remember the time she and Nancy checked off names for a KI sisterhood event. Nancy's big smile made each person feel wanted and welcomed.! Bob and Joy remember meeting Nancy and Jeff when they first came to a KI Friday night service and meeting many new people.

Memories are valuable lessons that we can always share but our feelings will remain how fortunate we were to have grown to know Nancy over the years in the L-V! Jeff, we won't forget you in our prayers that healing and understandings will come and give you peace as fast as it is possible. Friends, Bob and Joy Miller

Dr. Gervirtz and Family,
Ken and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your beautiful wife. I am a patient of Dr. Bub's office and had her one time and decided she was the perfect doctor for me but found out that she was leaving to be with her children. What a mother she was to give up her career to be with them and how lucky for your children. Know you're in our prayers and know she is now in your heart forever.
