Estelle Farbman Klein

Estelle was born to immigrant parents in Brooklyn, N.Y., the youngest of four children. She died at her home in Ashland, Ore., with her children at her side.

In 1946, she married Arthur Klein, and together they had two sons, Henry and Bruce, whom they raised in Long Beach, N.Y. Estelle and Arthur worked together in their business, Roberts Watch Repair and Jewelers in Valley Stream, N.Y., for 36 years. They had a great marriage that lasted until Arthur's death in 1996. She then moved to Hewlett, N.Y., until her children prevailed upon her to move to Ashland, Ore., in 2008, so they could care for her.

Estelle was a sweet loving person, a good daughter and sister, and a great wife and mother. She loved her family, her children, her daughter-in-law, and her friends. She enjoyed, travel, reading, and playing Mah-Jong.

Estelle is survived by sons, Henry, of Sacramento, Calif., and Bruce and daughter-in-law, Linda, of Ashland, Ore.; sisters, Pearl Selter, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Roz Markson, of Freehold, N.J.; and many loving nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews scattered throughout the United States of America. She will be missed.
