Pennie Parker Obituary

Pennie Parker, 61 SEBAGO -- Pennie Parker, 61, of Sebago passed away with her children by her side at the Hospice House in Auburn on Dec. 16, 2008. She was born in Saginaw, Mich., on May 5, 1947, to Anita and Robert Parker. Pennie is survived by four children, Wendy, Heather, Joshua and Margaret; four grandchildren, Geremiah, Alexander, Sage-Marie and Parker, and one brother William Blohm. Pennie also had two cats and two dogs whom she loved and adored, Duff, Nesa Rose, Woobie and Maggie Mae. During her lifetime Pennie pursued careers as a registered nurse, a medical instructor, and an herbalist. Pennie was a member and contributor to a number of associations and societies. Some of these include the American Botanical Council, Flower Essence Society, American Herbalists Guild, American Herb Association and the World Health Organization. Pennie was also a Reiki Master and an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church. Pennie was a consultant for the Steeplebush Herb Farm, Low Income Clinic in Buxton and the SVHC Center. Pennie was a beautiful, colorful and sincere individual with an enthusiasm for life and knowledge, who was admired by all who had the privilege to know her. She will be dearly missed. My deepest condolensces to the family. I knew Pennie through a company I worked for, with which she and I had many phone conversations. She will be missed dearly.
