Today was your last day of life one year ago, a year ago is much too long ago. You are still greatly missed and thought about everyday by those who love you.
I hope this time is not too painful for your children, my thoughts are with them over this time.
This grief is so isolating, but the memories hold me up, the strength to face each day comes from knowing that you enjoyed life doing what you did best being a top class Police Officer.
Look down from your roof up above with pride and know that you are loved now and for evermore.

The World is a duller place without your smile

Happy Birthday.
Today would have been your 51st birthday. Thank you for the memories which will live on in my heart. You were more special than you realised. Maybe now you are reunited with your twin brother in eternal peace. The loss you have left behind is so vast my pain is like a mere drop in an ocean.

Having met Mr Todd,a true proffesional gent , in his time in Notts. I witnessed his complete hands on approach toward every member of staff , hearing what they said and ensuring they were valued, which in todays policing is a rare quaility , i can only imagin the sadness his family , freinds and colleagues feel. A very real loss.My deepest sympathy to his wife and children and to all those he has left behind. May they find some comfort in the thoughts of strangers.

On Monday myself and 2 friends took a trip to Snowdon to go walking we arrived at the car park at penni pass and set of along the miners track, the mountain looked magnificent cloaked in cloud and fresh snow.
We battled our way up the mountain in calm and snowy conditions as we reached the final summit ridge the clouds parted and revealed Snowdonia in all its glory, sparkling snow capped mountains, lush green valleys and the sea crashing against the shore in the distance it was breath taking.
I am a veteran of over 100 summits of Snowdon but this was something very special!! The time was 12:30pm around the same time Mike Todd passed away some where very close by, I can only offer this recollection to his family as some comfort that at the time of his passing, he had before him something so beautiful and so awe inspiring.

Manchester Pub & Club Network Pays tribute to Chief Constable Michael Todd RIP ,
Members of Manchester Pub & Club Network are proud to have worked along side Mr Todd who played a very important part in our shaping our vibrant city centre , he was a big inspirational leader to all including our members in and around Manchester and Greater Manchester as a whole ,
Mr Todd was not only a coppers copper but also a peoples copper, he was one of the best hands on officers you could meet , he was always there to offer help support and advice to everyone who needed it , his ethics of partnership working were always very important to him , he would regularly been seen out with his troops especially at the weekend in patrolling the cities streets, giving good strong reassurances to all businesses residents and visitors that our cities streets were safe
Also Mr Todd managed to turn Manchester City Centre into one of the best family friendly city centre in the Country, the overall figures for visitors to Manchester have doubled since Mr Todd became Chief Constable thanks to his strong pro-active policing strategies ,

I was so, so shocked to hear the news. Mr Todd was such a nice guy, not only passionate about his job and good at what he did. He was definately a cops cop, and not scared of mucking in and getting his hands dirty with the rest of us.
GMP and Manchester were lucky to have him. I can only hope that our next Chief continues with the good work Mr Todd started.
As all the officers and staff of GMP unite together to mourn the loss of one of our own, I am sure they will all join me by sayin;
"R.I.P Boss, we hope that you are now at rest from whatever you had going on. We will continue the good work you started!"

Mr Todd has done wonders to the Manchester Police Force since being appointed Chief Constable of Manchester. This was evident to see especailly with the gun crime.
