What a shocking loss! I can picture Denise sitting in her chair telling me about all the great bargains she's found and laughing together over some silly thing that just happened. Denise appreciated the little things and tried to do what she could for others. Denise was a spitfire who had a way of putting a fun twist on the most mundane of situations. I will greatly miss her. Love you

Denise, your time on this earth was too brief. I'm grateful for dance the classes our daughters were in together, so we could meet. Being a 'Dance Mom' with you was fun Denise; keeping up with our girls was always a challenge. It was such a pleasure to know you, thank you for your friendship. Rest in peace.

"You taught me everything
And everything you've given me
I'll always keep it inside
You're the driving force in my life..."
Mom I will always have a piece of you with me everyday. You were such a great mom/friend/father to me. You taught me to be myself and not let anyone tell me different. I'm still waiting for you to call me and ask me how work was.. but that phone call isnt coming anytime and its the hardest thing ive had to come terms with. I'm happy that our last phone call was an i love you and i will see you tomorrow. Just know your still my number one fan mommy. Please hold me at night when I lay my head down at night. Me and Mickey mouse will miss you mommy!
"Mama you're the queen of my heart

Truly great acts of kindness and grace are not measured by their grandeur or greatness but in their consistency and quiet display. Denise was consistently kind and always ready to help. The front office staff at adult education is the heart and soul of our organization. They often get much of the grief and few of the thanks during rushed times but Denise always handled those situations with grace and good humor. She helped me out all the time; she cared deeply for the students of Independence Network and all students. Denise was so much more than that she was a kind loving person and a very brave person. I always respected her ability to multi task in tense situations with a sense of humor and giving each person the best service. Her life was one of service to all who knew her. I am a better person having known her.

Denise,
I think about what you would say about so many things and it makes me smile. I hope you get to see all of our other adult ed friends, and I hope they're all wearing white gogo boots, just like you wanted.
