Allan Wallace
Oct. 21, 1931 - March 19, 2015
Menlo Park, California
Allan Derby Wallace passed away peacefully nearby his favorite garden and surrounded by loved ones. Allan grew up in Atascadero, CA and graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a BS in Engineering and a BA from SFSU in music. He worked in Silicon Valley as an electrical engineer in the telecom business and played in jazz bands throughout the Bay Area. Allan is survived by Catherine, his wife of 50 years, his brother Donald, and Donald's family: Jacky, Robin, Brian, Tim, Ruby and Piper. All who knew him will miss his wit and playful curiosity.
A Celebration of Allan's Life, including lunch and a performance by Simply Jazz, will be held at the Holbrook-Palmer Carriage House in Atherton, CA, on June 14 at 12 noon. All are welcome.
