Lucretia Sheppard Obituary

Lucretia Beth Sheppard Known fondly as 'April' to her many friends and family, left this earth for her heavenly home on Friday, March 11, 2005. She was the second child of Chris and Esther (Johnson) Thompson. She was born on April 7, 1934, in Iowa City, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Iowa and she graduated from North High School in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1952.

April is survived by her son Dane Shearer and his wife Debbie of Urbandale, Iowa, and her grandson Jonathan Shearer. She also leaves behind her brother B.K. Thompson and his wife Marge of San Francisco, Calif., and 3 nephews, Brent, Steven, and Craig Thompson; 2 nieces, Carla Thompson and Rebecca Addison.

A Memorial Service for April will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. at Crossroads Bible Church, 1670 Moorpark Ave., San Jose, Calif., 95126. Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice or to Crossroads Bible Church in her memory.
