Lena Daigle Obituary

Lena T. Daigle POCATELLO, IDAHO Lena T. Daigle, 75, of Pocatello, Idaho, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at a local care center. She was born Jan. 9, 1933 at New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Canada, to Angus and Mary Louise AuCoin Muise. She married Joseph Daigle, Aug. 27, 1966 at St. James Church, Natick; he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1995. She enjoyed shopping, caring for others, and helping with the church. She loved to visit her sister, nieces, and nephews in Maine and New Hampshire. Lena was a member of the Catholic church. She moved from Canada to the United States in 1965, where she worked in a supermarket. She met her husband, Joe, at the French Club in Massachusetts. Lena and Joe settled in Natick; Lena continued working in supermarkets for 42 years in positions from clerk to management. Lena and Joe had one son, David. She was a very devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, David (Teresa) Daigle of Chubbuck, Idaho; two grandsons, Brandon and Jacob, and three sisters, Kay Morley of York Beach, Maine, Mary Brown of Chester, W. Va., and Rita Robinson of Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Alec Muise. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 3, at 11 a.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Thursday morning in the Cornelison ~ Henderson Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello.
