I am very very sad to hear of Karen's passing. My heart is heavy as I have just lost a loved one and can only imagine what her family is going through right now. I remember Karen as a teen when her and I would get into much trouble! She was an awesome friend. I don't know the circumstances of her death, but believe she is in a much better place today. My sincere wishes for her family to feel comfort in this time of great sorrow.

I knew your mother, wife, daughter, sister. We met when we were 5 and we grew up together. She moved away when we were in eighth grade but we kept in touch. I will always remember the light-hearted whimsical girl that I was lucky enough to share my deepest secrets with...the secrets of growing up - the secrets that only "best friends" share.

My heart is heavy today knowing that she is gone...especially knowing that she leaves you all behind. I pray that she is free from the bonds of this world and the sadness therein. I pray that God will take her into his loving arms and give her peace. I pray that He will be with your family as you journey through this grief.

I will think of you, Karen, often. I will remember you with the freckled face and the knobby knees...the beautiful bride...the mother of rambunctious boys and the friend that you always were...and I will miss you.
