Walter Curley Obituary

HUDSON Walter J. Curley, 68, died suddenly Friday, July 11, 2008, at his residence in Hudson. He was born in Hudson, son of the late Walter and Vivian (Dailey) Curley and was a lifelong resident of Hudson. Mr. Curley attended Hudson public schools and later served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by Waltham Central Transportation in Marlborough as a bus driver, until his retirement. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets. He is survived by his three children, Lisa Piper of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Elizabeth Cronin and Deborah George, both of Sutton; his two sisters, Judy Gosselin and May Ellen Curley, both of Minnesota. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his caregiver, Marie Y. Ferrera of Hudson. He was the brother of the late Alice and Francis Collins. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 15, at 11 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com), 50 Central St., Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
