Ruth McLean Obituary

Ruth S. McLean FRAMINGHAM Ruth Shirley McLean, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at MetroWest Medical Center/Framingham Union Hospital following an illness of 5 days. She was 81 and the wife of Lloyd H. McLean for 61 years. Raised and educated in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Cora (Dearth) Dyan. In addition to her husband, Lloyd, she leaves her sister, Marion Tuttle and her brother, William F. Dyan. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, David L. McLean and his wife, Marilyn, of Milford, Nancy A. Bozyczko and her husband, Frank, of Hopkinton, and William McLean and his wife, Sharon, also of Hopkinton. Mrs. McLean leaves eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at the MetroWest Funeral and Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Ave., Framingham. Visitation at the funeral home will be Tuesday, July 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Edgell Grove Cemetery. For additional information, tributes and guest book, please visit www.mem.com.

I'm so sorry to here about the passing of Shirley. She was like a second mother too all of us Tibbert kids. The times we spend as young kids at her house will always be fond memories. My thoughts and prays are with you all.

Lloyd McLean and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Shirley's passing. Mom, (Helen) and I so loved to get her many letters. When I think of Aunt Shirley I will smile. She was always such a joyful person and had such a sence of hummor. God Speed!
