Nancy Judson Obituary

MEDWAY Nancy A. Judson, 67, of Medway, died, Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Natick, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Milford, April 28, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Elsie (Groehl) Judson. A lifelong resident of Medway, Miss Judson graduated from Medway High School in 1959, and attended Northeastern University. She retired from GTE in 1993, after 34 years of service as a contract negotiator and configuration supervisor.Miss Judson enjoyed spending time at her home with her beloved cat, Molly, and summering in Mashpee. She also enjoyed gardening, golf and travel. She is survived by a sister, Marion DeVita and her husband, Mario of Milford and a brother, Ronald Judson of Medway. She is also survived by three nieces, Cheryl Crane and her husband, David, of Milford, Robin Burroughs and her husband, Scott, of Medway and Amy Oakland and her husband, Dave, of Millis; and one nephew, Mark Judson and his wife, Sheila, of Sturbridge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m., in the GinleyCrowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 3 Barber St., Medway. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the VNA of Greater Milford, 25 Birch St., Bldg. B, Suite B1, Milford, MA 01757, or to the Milford Humane Society, 289 West St., Milford, MA 01757.

Ron & Amy & family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. I had the privledge of knowing Nancy when she worked at the Town Hall for her Senior Hours -- she was a wonderful lady.
