Sally Bolduc Obituary

MARLBOROUGH Sally K. (Kershaw) Bolduc, 69, of Marlborough, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at her home. She was the wife of Andre Bolduc, who died three years ago. Her first husband, Stanley Travis, V.M.D., died in 1982. She was born and raised in Keene, N. H., the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Bolt) Kershaw. She was a graduate of Keene High School, Class of 1956, and later graduated from the Katherine Gibbs School. She moved to Massachusetts in the '60s with her husband, Stanley. She leaves a daughter, Amy Travis of Barnstable; a son, Scott O. Travis of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, Edward Kershaw of California; a granddaughter, Amanda Bolduc of Barnstable; five nephews and four nieces. Sally was a secretary at Digital Equipment Corporation in Marlborough for many years. She also kept the books for her husband, Stanley, at the Wayland Animal Clinic. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing and knitting. Sally was selflessly devoted her husband and children, and will be remembered for her great sense of humor, big heart and random acts of kindness. She was be sorely missed by those who loved her. A private graveside service will be held in the family lot at North Cemetery in Wayland. Calling hours are private. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Tufts University School of Medicine, c/o Travis Trust, 200 Westboro Road, North Grafton, MA 01536. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough.
