Theresa Zontini Obituary

FRAMINGHAM Theresa Ann (Fedolfi) Zontini, 100, a lifelong resident of Framingham, passed peacefully at her sons home in Yarmouthport Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, surrounded by her family. Born in Framingham, daughter of the late Guiseppe and Maria (Stefanini) Fedolfi, she resided in the same house her entire life and had just celebrated her 100th birthday in August. She was the beloved wife for 35 years of Robert Zontini, who died in 1966. Mrs. Zontini attended Memorial School and was formerly employed by Dennison Mfg. Co., Ashland Chair Co. and Baxter Co. She, along with her husband, owned and operated the former Belvedere Caf, Zontinis at Shoppers World and the Starlight Room. Mrs. Zontini was a lifelong parishioner and active volunteer at St. Tarcisius Parish and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Theresa was a huge Red Sox fan and also enjoyed cooking, knitting and watching game shows on TV. Most of all, Theresa loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all. Theresa is survived by her two sons, Robert Jr. and his wife, Doris, of Yarmouthport and Richard and his wife, Pamela, of Framingham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Cindy and Patty of Dennis, Terry of Harwich, Bobby of Camden, Maine, Michael of Yarmouthport, Adele of Framingham, Dickie of Ashland and Joey of Nashua, N.H.; and 14 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Margaret Fedolfi of Framingham. She was the sister of the late Eugene, Frank, Joseph, baby Ludavico, Josephine Borelli, Anna Fedolfi and Mildred Borelli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. from Norton Funeral Home (www.nortonfuneralhome.com), 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.), Framingham, followed by her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Tarcisius Church, 563 Waverly St. (Rte. 135), Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Tarcisius Church or to Beacon Hospice, 259 Willow St., Yarmouth, MA 02675.

What a interesting life Naunie had. I remember some of the stories Patty would tell of her grandmother which made me want a Naunie of my own. Her legacy is the wonderful family she leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
