Alcide Belloli

FRAMINGHAM Alcide Belloli, 86, a resident of Framingham, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. He was the husband of 53 years to Florence Lois (Erickson) Belloli, who died in 2001. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Angelo and Amedea (Casasco) Belloli. Mr. Belloli was a graduate of Framingham High School, Class of 1941. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He was the owner of Belloli Construction in Framingham for many years. He was a member of the Columbus Hall in Framingham, and he enjoyed playing cribbage, briscola and marianna. Mr. Belloli is survived by his five daughters, Susan Murray and her husband, Charles, of Dedham, Joan deGrandmaison of Framingham, Barbara Wilson and her husband, Gerald, of Lancaster, Ellen Grenier and her husband, Donald, of Athol, and Anni Powers and her husband, Eric, of Framingham; 13 grandchildren, Angela and David Besana, Alysia Waple, Joseph Murray, Kara Nilson, Jennifer Lloyd, Donald Parlin, James and Michael Wilson, Dawn, Eric and Laura Grenier, and Ryan Powers, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Lena Rotelli and Thelma Belloli, both of Framingham, and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Dianne Besana; father-in-law of the late William deGrandmaison and Luciano Besana, and brother of the late Alcide and Mario Belloli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m., from the Norton Funeral Home (www.nortonfuneralhome.com), 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.), Framingham, followed by his funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. Tarcisius Church, 563 Waverly St. (Rte. 135), Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, Sept. 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Friends of the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt.
