Lucille R. Fluette

Lucille R. Fluette BLACKSTONE Lucille R. (Cournoyer) Fleuette, 69, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully Sept. 1, 2008, in St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield, R.I., with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" J. Fleuette. Born in Woonsocket, R.I., on Aug. 13, 1939, she was the loving mother of Michelle R. Belhumeur of Woonsocket, Diane M. and her husband, Ronald Choquette, of Bellingham, Denise J. and her husband, John Larsen, of Charlton, Suzanne R. and her husband, Ty Rheaume, of Blackstone and Monique L. and her husband, Matthew Fontaine, of Uxbridge; and devoted Memere of Christopher Fleuette, Jennifer, Alison, Jonathan and Tyler Rheaume, Corey Belhumeur, and Andrew and Heather Larsen. She was a sister of Rita Demers of West Palm Beach, Fla., Maurice Cournoyer of Bellingham, Roger Cournoyer of Woon-socket, R.I., and the late Omer Cournoyer, Roland "Rusty" Cournoyer, Gloria DelPivo and Lucien Cournoyer. A resident of Blackstone, and formerly of Bellingham, Mrs. Fleuette was co-owner and bookkeeper of Fleuettes Automotive Service on Pulaski Boulevard, Bellingham, for 25 years, with her husband Bob. She was a graduate of St. Clare High School Class of 1957. For the past six years, she was a volunteer at St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield, R.I., had served on the Assumption Parish CYO Board of Directors and was a Girl Scout leader. She was a member of St. Agatha's Seniors in Woonsocket, and a communicant of the former Assumption Church, Bellingham, and St. Theresa Church, Blackstone. She was an avid card player, bowler and enjoyed traveling, especially the annual weekend trips with her daughters. She was devoted to spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed. A funeral will be held Friday, 9 a.m., from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 South Main St. (Rte. 126), Bellingham, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m., in St. Theresa Church, 610 Rathbun St., Blackstone. Interment will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lucille R.
