Omer A. Bouthiette

UPTON Omer A. Bouthiette, 84, formerly of Upton, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at his daughter's residence in Webster after a long illness. Omer was born in Upton, son of the late Ernest Sr. and Mary (Pallie) Bouthiette. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. For many years, he owned and operated Upton Painting Company. He was a lifelong resident of Upton and enjoyed spending time in Florida. He was a member of the Holy Angels Parish, and a 25-year member of the Sutton Country Squares. His wife of 61 years, Loraine M. (Houde) Bouthiette, died Sept. 3, 2007. He leaves his two daughters, Dianne M. Valis of Webster and Hope Ann Lapierre of Upton; two brothers, Francis Bouthiette, and Norman Bouthiette and his wife, Ann, of Upton; a sister-in-law, Winona Bouthiette of Upton; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Bouthiette Jr. of Lakeland, Fla., and Richard Bouthiette of Upton. Graveside services will be held in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton. There are no calling hours. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, is directing arrangements.
