May you find solace and healing in your memories.

a poem I wrote which I find poignant.

The Valkyrie

The war’s long been over.
The battle all but lost.
I stand proud and defiant.
My wounds mark my triumph.
My Courage. My love of life.
I will not go gently
Into the twilight of my Soul.
