Christina Dudas

UXBRIDGE Christina M. (Robbins) Dudas, 71, of Uxbridge, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She was the wife of Charles E. Dudas of 50 years. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Sydney and Marie (Wlordorska) Robbins, and lived in Danbury, Conn., before moving to Uxbridge in 2005. She was a graduate of the Greenwich, Conn., High School, Class of 1955. She received an associate's degree in education from the University of Bridgeport in 1957. Mrs. Dudas retired in 1996 from the New Fairfield, Conn., school system, where she was employed as an office administrator for many years. Mrs. Dudas was a communicant of St. Michaels Church in Mendon, and a member of the Emblem club B.P.O.E. # 120 in Danbury, Conn. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Robin, and her husband, Lawrence Machione, of Mendon; two brothers, Steuart Robbins of West Roxbury and Kenneth Robbins of Hawaii; two grandchildren, Katherine Machione and Christopher Machione, both of Mendon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Machione, who died in 2000. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m., at Saint Michaels Church, North Avenue, Mendon. Cremation will follow in Rural Cemetery,Worcester. Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 25, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford.
