Janet Moore

MILFORD Janet L. (Cornish) Moore, 76, of Milford, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the Continuing Care Center of Hopedale. She was the wife of Richard P. Moore, who died in 2003. She was born in New York, N.Y., daughter of the late Benjamin and Beatrice (Booth) Cornish. She was raised in Holliston, and was a 1950 graduate of Holliston High School. Mrs. Moore had been employed by Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford as an accounts payable clerk, from 1967 until her retirement in 2002. Previously, she had been employed by the former Interstate Photo Service of Holliston. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and crocheting. She is survived by a son, Richard P. Moore of Blackstone; three daughters, Randa Crivello and Paula Converse, of Milford, and Robin Bouchard of Bellingham; seven grandchildren, Kasey Moore, Andrew, Alex and Emily Converse, and Sarah, Jillian and Jacob Bouchard; a brother, Richard Cornish, of Ashland; and a sister, Donna Joyce, of Holliston. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Cornish, and a sister, Beverly Smith. Her funeral will take place Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m., at Pine Street Baptist Church, 41 Pine St., Milford. Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 25, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St., Milford.
