Frank E. Feccia Sr.

MILFORD Frank E. Feccia Sr., 95, of Milford, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at the Geriatric Authority of Milford. He was the husband of Betty M. (Laczka) Feccia, who died in 1993. He was born in Milford, son of the late Carlo and Maria (Guarnieri) Feccia, and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford schools. He retired in 1978 from Massachusetts Electric Co., where he was employed as a truck driver. He was also employed as a caretaker at the Crossing's on Adin Street in Hopedale for 30 years. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He is survived by one son, Frank E. Feccia Jr. of Hopedale; three daughters, Jean doCurral and Barbara Mitides, both of Milford, and Carol Bates of Douglas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by eight brothers, Joseph Feccia, Charles Feccia, John Feccia, Louis Feccia, Anthony Feccia, Peter Feccia, Guido Feccia, Alfred Feccia, and two sisters, Margaret Bratica and Mary Valorie. The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m., in Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Road, Milford.
