Marsha, I didn't you personally. But I heard about from my good friend harsha's wife. Destiny cut short your time on this plane. But I am sure you will remembered as a great soul who left behind wonderful memories through good work, music and your spirit

Happy Birthday, our dear Marsha.
You may be elsewhere, but most certainly not forgotten down here.
Horribly missed, always in our Hearts & Minds.
We will never forget the manner of your passing.

I remember working with Marsha on "Triumph of Love" at TheatreWorks. She was a fantastic Viola player and just the nicest person to have around any orchestra. We lost someone who gave us so much and she'll be missed.

I am devastated! The world has tragically lost a very, very special soul! I have had the honour of knowing this beautiful Spirit for over 30 years - since we met in 1976 in Aberdeen, Scotland - she was there performing in the International Festival of Youth Orchestras as part of the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra, and I was a mere Scottish Student doing exam re-sits! We immediately became best of friends and have shared our lives, off & on, ever since - and I just cannot believe she has gone.
Marsha was such an inspiration, a total Culture-Fiend, always intensely Curious, fascinated by new things, never still, intensely Politically Aware & Active, always encouraging others to follow her lead in Grasping Life With Both Hands! Her tales from the front-line of Demonstrations were as colourful as her tales of her Partying and her wonderfully inspiring descriptions of her latest visit to an Art Gallery or a Museum or a Show, be it in London or LA or New York! You are SO missed, Marsha. May light perpetual shine upon you, and grant you Peace.

I have such warm and vivid memories of Marsha dating back to kindergarten. We played music together for many years, and I am glad to have shared so many years with such a talented and vibrant person. I remember when we were in high school and we went to play duets (viola and cello) in Ghirardelli Square, all dressed up and with flowers decorating our music stands. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I first met Marsha while she was living in London, England in 1987, she was witty, intelligent, vivacious and, above all, fun! She was also very caring, as evidenced by her work on behalf of AIDS charities. We have kept in touch ever since and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family and friends. Wherever you are, Marsh, have a beer on me.

I met Marsha only the week before our last concert with Ohlone College Orchestra. She came to help us play at our March 2nd concert.
She played beautifully. I could feel her strong presence as she played, and the difficult piece we were playing was somehow much easier with her. She will be missed by us all.

I sat next to Marsha in the Ohlone Orchestra, her musical talents will be missed. She showed her sense of humor a few weeks ago when during rehearsal her bridge fell to the floor, she picked it up, put it back in her violin and didn't miss a beat!!! Now, that's professionalism. She will be missed, it was a treasure and honor to have known her.

Marsha left us way too soon. I have trouble believing she is really gone. I feel deep sadness for her sisters and her dad. It's hard to accept her being gone, she was very rambunctious and fun and talented. I miss her. She was a beautiful friend.

I remember Marsha as a talented and very bright youngster, as her parents, Harry and Eleanor, and my parents, Burdette and Helen Brown, were great friends. Words cannot express how saddened we are by this news. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Marsha's husband and Harry, Cathy and Jeanne.
