I was so saddened to hear of Phyllis's sudden passing. She was always so full of life and I will always remember her as such a beautiful, sweet person and so much fun to be around. I will never forget my visits to Kings Mountain, N.C. as a kid and seeing all the cousins. It was always a fun time and Phyllis was a big part of it. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to all the family. Cousin, Bobby

Dear Hammock and Dean Families,
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Phyllis's death from Tommy's recent note to Nancy. Had I only known, I would have made every effort to be with you for her memorial service. Phyllis was definitely an original--there was no one else like her and there will never be another. We all loved her. I had hoped we me might have another Morris family reunion after you all so graciously came to Mama's (Aunt Teenie's) 85th birthday celebration in Richmond, but a reunion now just wouldn't be the same without Phyllis. Please know that you all are in my thoughts as you deal with your loss. With deepest sympathy,
Cousin Ben

Tony and family, I will miss one of my most favorite patients that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and treating. She was Mrs. Sunshine. I could hardly get her teeth cleaned for all the talking we would do. She always wanted to know how my family was doing, especially my aging mother and father. She always left her visit, giving me a hug and a smile. I always felt more encouraged when she left, than when she came in. It has truly been an honor to know her. My deepest sympathy and prayers for you this day.
