In memory of my brother: The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us. Hope you had many such moments, Jeff. Love, your sister, Sandy

I came to know Jeff through his mother Anne, my neighbor and good friend, who welcomed me into her home to share their holiday dinners. Jeff was a bright and articulate conversationalist at these events. His dry humor and personal warmth made me feel very much at home. I was deeply saddened by news of his untimely death. He will be greatly missed.

Jeff was my friend for 30+ years. He was mild-mannered, loved his family, liked to read, had compassion for all living things, and liked to drive very fast. Jeff had a gift. He could raise peoples' spirits regardless of how bad a day they were having; it was almost charismatic. He had a melodious voice full of compasson and humor and a smile that could cure a cold.

I met Jeff on the phone and through pictures. The conversations I had with him impressed upon me that he was a kind and gracious man. I was touched by the pictures of him and Barbra. The smiles and look in there eyes tell of the special relationship they shared. Together, they seemed happy and content, true companions that shared much joy and laughter. I would enjoyed meeting him in person and getting to know him as a friend.
