Elizabeth O'Bar Obituary

Elizabeth Alice O'Bar, 87 SUN CITY -- Elizabeth Alice O'Bar died Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Conventry Court in Anaheim. Born March 12, 1923 in San Jose, California, she lived in Sun City for 19 years. She was an active volunteer in her parish community until her move to San Diego. Mrs. O'Bar is survived by her sister, Dolores Schock of Rochester, NY; two daughters, Shannon Frazier of El Dorado Hills and Maura Fry of Murrieta; seven sons, Michael O'Bar of Lorton, Va., Timothy O'Bar of Sammamish, Wash., Kevin O'Bar of Santa Barbara, Rory O'Bar of Encino, Terrence O'Bar of Fullerton, Daniel O'Bar of Fresno, Mark O'Bar of Garden Grove; and 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation and Rosary are scheduled from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, September 16, at Miller Jones Mortuary in Sun City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, September 17, at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City. Interment will be private.
