Can´t believe Chuck has been gone 14 years now. He must have left an enormous impression on us as we still smile and giggle at all the good times we had especially on layovers. In the middle of one of CAL´s bankruptcy when we didn´t know if we would have a job, Chuck picks up this WWll book at a army surplus store, entitled "Good liven in grubby times" we had more fun reading that book on the Flight Deck. There are so many more stories on his kindness.

It was always such a pleasure to see the bid results with Chuck as your crewmember. We had so many great trips together. Chuck was one of the most generous people I have had the pleasure to know. He always did his job.

I am saddened to hear of Chuck's passing. I always enjoyed flying with him. He was a giving friend to everyone. Chuck was definitely one of a kind. When ever I get together with Continental friends, Chucks name and his stories always came up. He will be missed.

"Good Journey" good friend...I had both the pleasure and good fortune to know Chuck for many years.Strangers were unknown to him, all were friends. My sympathies to his family.

Ditto to what Curt said. 100% old school. Would always put others ahead of himself. The most unselfish person I knew. I'm glad to of had "Chuckles" as a friend.

Chuck was one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I flew quite a bit with Chuck over the years on the DC-10, and truly enjoyed getting know him. I couldn’t get Chuck to stop calling me SKIPPER. I would say Chuck call me Mike and he would give me that look, and then replay OK SKIPPER. So I gave up trying and just watch him perform his selfless acts around the airline, buying little gifts for people and making them feel like they were the most important person in the world. You will be sorely missed my friend

The passing of Chuck saddened all of us that flew with him at CAL. He was the most caring person I've ever known. Chuck would give you his last dime if you needed it and what a joy to fly with him. The great memories I have of all the flights we had together, the stories are to numerous to mention here. I know Chuck is under the guidance of the Final Controler and I wish him clear skies and tailwinds on his new journey. He will be missed and remembered.
