Dear Vaida
You and Bob were my Sunday School teachers at the Presbyterian Church on Harbinson Street. You both added greatly to my life, and I thank you for your dedicated service. After I was married and had children I answered an ad in the newspaper when you were selling a beautiful maple bedroom set. I was looking for one for my son, but yours was more than I could afford. Bob encouraged me to come and see it and said he'd work with me on the payment. I gave him what I had and paid the balance a month later. My son used that furniture until he was grown. Now I have part of it in my guest room and he has part of it at his house. I think of Bob and you every time I look at it. Thanks to both of you for a lifetime of giving and sharing God's love.

I will always love Bob and remember him although we haven't overlapped our lives in so many years. He is brother to Rodney, who was married to Anne, who was my mother's best friend. I could really go on and on about my love for the Hellands and all the related families. Anyway, my first secretarial job was at Helland's Appliance approximately 50 years ago. Thank you for being the best and most positive person, Bob. I am sad for your family that you are gone, but I know there is nothing we can do about this kind of thing. Love, Judy Huss
