Carolyn Sullivan Obituary

Carolyn Martha Sullivan, 78 POWAY -- Carolyn Martha Sullivan, (nee: Hill, formally Cooley) was born October 23, 1931 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She died Monday, September 20, 2010 in Poway, Calif. Carolyn is survived by four children; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren; one sister; and two nephews. She loved painting and was an accomplished pianist and played for Maranatha Baptist Church of Missouri. She took and active part in the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary as Commander for the state of Missouri and was also lovingly known as "Dietza" the clown. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m., at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary on Saturday, October 9, 2010. A burial service will also be held in Cuba, Missouri where her remains will be joined with her late husband Clement Harvey "Sully" Sullivan. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Elizabeth Hospice.
