Cousin Little Ernie as he was known by many people you were the best, you were kind to all of us and could pull off the best over the grill, and I'll never forget the time he gave me a dork on the gourd with a one foot screw driver this is one thing threw life that he always laughed about, and I will never forget you my best Cousin.

I will always miss his tough love towards me during my childhood. He was straight forward and never sheltered anything regarding tough life's lessons. Life was going to be tough at times and he let you know it. I will always remember the summer BBQ's, a Padres game we went to with the family, and how frustrated I made him with never roughing it when it came to camping. Love you uncle Ernie and you will always be missed.

My brother was always a bigger than life person to me. He took me on some great escapades and related life lessons like only he could do--unvarnished and profane-- but usually truthful. He could get to me like no one else but would be happy to take on anyone who messed with me. I miss his voice and I miss his security. God's getting an earful now. Your sister who should have told you she loved you more often.

I am a long time friend of Lyonel and have known him and his sister and dad since I was about 8 or 9. Mr. Padilla was one of my Little League baseball coaches. I will always remember him as having the patience of Job......having to deal with all those kids. The thing I will miss the most will be his sense of humor. He will be missed greatly. My tthoughts will be with you both Lyonel and Cinnamon.
