Eugene F. Henry

Eugene F. Henry, 85 ENCINITAS -- Born: Feb. 4, 1925 ~ Died: Sept. 29, 2010 Eugene worked as a professional waiter and a carving chef at major hotels including, Top of the Mark, in San Francisco. He attended Catholic schools and lived in San Francisco most of his life. He relocated to Encinitas in April 2000 with Mary Morris to make their home in Encinitas until September 29, 2010 when he passed away. Eugene was a member of Sandpipers Square Dancing organization and loved to dance. Eugene is survived by his devoted partner of 25 years, Mary Morris. He is also survived by a nephew, William Henry; and nieces, Joan Durling and Barbara Henry, all of San Francisco. There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 7, from 3 to 6 p.m., and a Rosary at 4p.m., at the El Camino Mortuary, 340 Melrose, Encinitas. Reception to follow.
