Clifford Henne Obituary

Clifford L. Henne, 84 ESCONDIDO -- Clifford Henne passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010. He was born May 26, 1929 in Greenville, South Carolina, son of Herman Henne, Jr., and Annie Henne. Cliff graduated from Harrison High School in New York, and received an Associates degree from Palomar College in San Marcos. He served in the U.S. Navy for 14 years as an Aircraft Mechanic, and ended his career as a Supervisor for General Dynamics in the Electronic division. Cliff was a member of the American Legion and VP48 Flight Squadron. He enjoyed square dancing, helping with Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Youth Soccer and Little League, and volunteered for several organizations. He also was a Foster Parent. Cliff was a loving, generous, kind, wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, challenging at times, but always will to help others. Cliff is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Bradley Henne; sister, Lila Trado of Ridgefield, Conn.; brother, Boyd Henne of Rye, N.Y.; daughters, Linda (Bill) Walsh of Lemon Grove, Calif., and Lori Henne of Eugene, Oregon; sons, Steven (Ronda) Henne of Temecula, Calif., Paul (Stephanie) Henne of Renton, Wash., and David (Judy) Henne of Escondido, Calif.; seven grandsons; and three great-granddaughters. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 795 No. Rose St., Escondido. Burial will be held at a later date.
