I´m saddened by the news of Tony´s passing, and I extend my condolences to the family. He came to mind today, January 18, 2025 and I learned of his passing via an internet search. I met him in late 1969 via my mother-in-law just before I entered the Navy in January 1970. I´ll never forget his advice before I entered basic training.. "Keep your mouth shut and do as you´re told." He lived in Ramona at the time and, a few times, I helped him with some small projects on his ToDel contracts. I lost contact with him after about a decade but I never forgot him. Rest in peace, Chief.

Uncle Tony-
I am sitting here reading your obituary and it just seems impossible that I won't see you today at Mom's when I pick up the kids. It's been nearly 2 months but it just doesn't seem real for some reason.
I know that the past several months were not good for you. I am angry at myself that I didn't come over more or call you more than I did. I let life get in the way. But I know that you are aware of how very, very much we loved you.
You could always make the kids laugh and they always looked so forward to seeing you. They were always excited to tell me that they had seen you and Auntie that day. I am so glad for the special relationship you had with my kids-they will always remember that!
We will all miss your silly jokes, not to mention your calendars! Heck, how are we going to know when everyone's special days are!!!
The holidays will be very different this year, and in years to come.
We will do our very best to look after Auntie for you because you know how very much she means to us also.
Rest In Paradise, Uncle Tony. xxoo

I am so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. We go way back to when we all first moved to Ramona and I met him as he was working as a handyman. We became good friends and I hired him to help build my first house working under someone else's license in mid 1975. The contractor ended up chasing Tony off my job and I was left dealing with a jerk. The contractor and I ended up in a law suit which I won. The best part of all of this is that Tony went out and got his own license and that was the beginning of Todel Construction. We all had some good times together especially at parties Tony and Del had at their house. It was so sad when she passed away a long time ago and he was so alone.
I am so glad he met Helen. He was a really nice, caring person and deserved another good person to share his life with.
