Frank Breedlove Obituary

Frank Etzel Breedlove SAN MARCOS -- Resident of San Marcos since 1997, Frank Breedlove was born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 4, 1923. He died peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 with his wife of 64 years, Patricia Breedlove, by his side. He was a WWII veteran where he served as a sailor in the South Pacific. He took advantage of the GI Bill to become a Mechanical Engineer, practicing many years in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay area before retiring in 1986. He was fond of golf and spent many happy hours playing with his son, Jim, at the Palo Alto Golf Course. Frank is survived by his wife; four sons, Keith Breedlove of Ashburn, Va., Jim Breedlove of San Mateo, Calif., Glenn Breedlove of Effingham, Ill., and Scott Breedlove of Houston, Texas. He was predeceased by a son, Wayne Breedlove. There are also 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is going to be sorely missed, especially his sense of humor. Pat,
Deepest sympathy in hearing of Frank's passing. You and Frank were such a help and comfort to Mom, Al and I when we lost Bob. You, Jim, Keith and Scott are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully Frank and Bob are hitting some balls together now!
