Jack S. Dale

Jack S. Dale, 83 VISTA-- Jack S. Dale of Vista, California, died suddenly Thursday, October 21, 2010. He was born in Caro, Michigan on September 11, 1927, and graduated from Redford High School just outside of Detroit, Michigan. He served his country as a participant in the occupational forces after World War II after which, as a career, Jack was employed for 42 years by the Detroit Edison Company. Upon retiring, he and his wife at the time, Marion Dale, moved to California in 1989 to be close to their three children: Allison, Jeff, and Andria. After the loss of Marion in 1997, he remarried in March of 2001 to Charlotte (Douglas) Dale and enjoyed the remaining years welcomed and loved by her, his newly extended family of her five adult children; Mike, Steve, Beth, Cathy, Jim; their spouses, children and grandchildren. Jack was a treasured member of his church, San Marcos Lutheran, and lent his voice to the church's adult choir. He was also involved with local area chorales and was an avid bowler until his passing. A memorial service was held the evening of Monday, October 25, 2010 at San Marcos Lutheran Church, 3419 Grand Avenue, San Marcos, CA 92078.
